Sally Morgan: 'I am not mad, I am not unhinged...I talk to dead people'

The Independent

Sally Morgan is a psychic to the stars whose clients have included Uma Thurman and Princess Diana. She has her own ITV show, premium-rate phone line and a waiting list of 72,000. But while many are convinced she has The Gift, others say they can do the same thing by using Google...

Interview by Robert Chalmers

The house is in silence. There are no lights on, no vehicles in its drive, and no signs of recent occupation, except for a small mountain of wine bottles spilling over the recycling bins, topped by a magnum of Veuve Clicquot champagne. For a moment I think I must have come on the wrong day; then I remember what Sergeant Bilko said to colleague Rupert Ritzik, when they went to consult a medium for gambling advice, in an episode of The Phil Silvers Show: "It's very quiet. The blinds are closed. Nothing is moving. She must be in."

Sally Morgan answers the door herself.

Michaelmas ~ Feast of St. Michael and All Angels

Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for, without being seen, they are present with you...
~ St. Francis de Sales

From Doreen Virtue:
"Why do we pray to angels? Aren’t we supposed to pray to God?

The angels don’t want us to worship them or make them into "gods." They want all glory to go to God. So, we don’t pray to angels. We only request their help and have conversations with them.

Angels are a gift from God, and our Creator intends for us to benefit from His gift to us. So there is nothing wrong with engaging in conversations with angels..."

Angels cannot be seen by man with his bodily eyes, but only with the eyes of the spirit which is within him...
~ Emanuel Swedenborg

Angels are split up into spheres or an ‘angelic hierarchy.’ In the group of angels closest to earth and working with humankind are the ‘angels’ and the archangels.

In many references the archangels are said to be the higher ranking angels and the term ‘angels’ are thought to be angels with individual tasks, to see over a specific person for example rather than a larger role such as to see over all the bodies of water on the earth for example.

A comprehensive list of archangels and a wealth of information on them can be found here at Diana Cooper's site: The Archangels

Politician and pilot spot UFO in Meath

Belfast Telegraph

The truth is out there - and if a police officer, a politician and a pilot are to be believed, aliens are keeping a close eye on us from above.

Dramatic eye-witness testimony was heard at a conference over the weekend which, delegates were told, provided "definitive" proof of recent UFO activity in the skies around north Dublin and Meath.

Footage, filmed on a camera phone at 10.35pm on August 3 near Dunboyne was also played and replayed to over 70 delegates who attended the fifth Irish International UFO conference in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The triangular shaped image, with lights at each point, which appeared to send a red laser-type light towards earth, drew gasps of amazement from the 70 or so delegates who attended the world premiere of the footage.

Journey to unlock 'out of body' mysteries

BBC News Online

In September, medical teams at 25 hospitals across the world revealed they were undertaking the largest study of its kind into near death experiences (NDE).

Researchers want to know if there is any truth in so called "out-of-body" incidents reported by gravely ill people.

One of the hospitals taking part in the research is Morriston Hospital in Swansea, where Dr Penny Sartori has become a leading expert on the phenomenon.

She gives her own personal insight into why the research is so important - and the impact it has had on her own life...

"...In June 2008 my book, an academic monograph, The Near-Death Experiences of Hospitalized Intensive care Patients: A Five Year Clinical Study was published by The Edwin Mellen Press. The reason that I chose to publish an academic book is because I believe these experiences need to be taken seriously..."

Death and associated phenomena

Ian Punnett on US radio show, Coast to Coast held an in depth interview with neuropsychiatrist Dr. Peter Fenwick about his new book, 'The Art of Dying' which examines death and the dying process.

According to Fenwick, the dying receive visitations from deceased loved ones within the last two weeks of life. This experience is common among those who believe in afterlife experiences and those who do not, he said. As evidence, Fenwick shared an anecdote about a non-believing mother who received a visitation from her dead husband. Deathbed visions appear to be part of the death process itself, he explained. Fenwick also talked about how culture may influence the form of the person seen by those near death, noting that 25% of people in his UK study had their mothers or fathers come to 'collect' them.

The Angels on the Economy by Doreen Virtue

The news right now is focusing on world economies and and financial melt-downs. How we view what's happening and how it effects us depends hugely on our thoughts and beliefs which in turn create our reality. Doreen Virtue gives us the angels advise:

Beliefnet.com

Economic conditions are more affected by human beliefs and expectations, than by oil prices or political concerns. This is true for you personally, as well as for everyone globally. Your personal finances are greatly influenced by your expectations and emotions, so it’s doubly important to keep your thoughts and feelings at as high a level as possible.

* Avoid any thoughts or discussions about blaming politicians, countries, or anyone else for your personal or the global economy. Placing blame upon others puts you in a victim role, energetically. This lowers your energies, and has you attract more experiences of victimization

Feathers from heaven

Mail Online

Four years after the tragic death of her daughter Caron Keating, TV presenter Gloria Hunniford has found a way to deal with her grief.

The Northern Irish TV host, 68, has found comfort in what she believes to be 'messages' from her late daughter.

Speaking to Fern Britton and Philip Schofield on This Morning earlier today, Hunniford said she regularly encounters lone feathers, which she believes are a sign from Keating in Heaven.

Hunniford said: 'Caron believed feathers were calling cards from angels.

'It's extraordinary because I am constantly finding isolated fathers, including one in the studio today - even though there were no feathers around.

'One feather fell at my feet the day of Caron's funeral... I find it a great comfort.'

To sleep, perchance to dream...

Mail Online

Sweet dreams are made of flowers, according to researchers.

Scientists say tests have shown that sleeping with roses in your bedroom may provoke pleasant dreams.

During a study, the scent of the blooms were pumped under the noses of 15 sleeping women for ten seconds over 30 nights.

The volunteers were then woken up and asked to record their dreams - which proved to be more pleasant than normal.

Further analysis showed that the smells had an affect on the emotions of the dreams but did not become part of the dream as women exposed to roses did not dream about roses.

Similar tests showed that the rancid smell of rotten eggs provoked negative feelings in their dreams.

Psychic barber Gordon Smith's astonishing insights reduced singing star to tears

DailyRecord.co.uk

WHEN Mica Paris met Scot Gordon Smith in his new Psychic Therapy series, something he said made her instantly dissolve into tears.

That's not so surprising, as Mica, 39, lost her half-brother Jason seven years ago in a senseless shooting.

But the shock, to Mica more than anyone, was that it was not her brother that prompted the reaction.

Gordon had a message from Mica's aunt Shirley, who died of heart failure just over three years ago, aged 46, after a seemingly routine operation to replace her pacemaker.

She wanted to tell Mica she was still there for her, and she loved her baby daughter.

The soul singer and sassy What Not To Wear presenter was overwhelmed with emotion, and put her head in her hands and sobbed.

"It was powerful," Mica said. "It just knocked me sideways. I was not prepared for that. I was sceptical.

"I've seen this kind of programme on TV and I've thought 'Hmmm, yeah...', and I always switch off.

"But what he said really threw me. I thought, 'Bloody Norah, no one knows about Shirley. What's going on?' I stopped filming - I had to. I couldn't compose myself. I was a mess."

Can Water Remember?

Health24.com South Africa

The much-anticipated documentary Water – The Great Mystery, from the creators of What the Bleep Do We Know?, has just been released in South Africa.

The documentary features several scientists from around the world who've researched water. The impressive list

includes, among others, Prof Kurt Wüthrich, Swiss chemist and Nobel Chemistry laureate, Prof Rustum Roy from the State University of Pennsylvania and member of the International Academy of Science, Prof Vladimir Voeikov, a biologist from the Moscow State University, Prof Konstantin Korotkov, a physicist of St. Petersburg State Technical University in Russia, and Dr Emoto, who is also President Emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation.

Interesting theories are proposed:

1. It's noted that water receives and makes an "imprint" of any outside influence, "remembering" everything that occurs in the space that surrounds it. Research seems to indicate that any substance coming into contact with water leaves a trace behind (incidentally, this theory is also central to homeopathy).

2. It's further noted that, as water records information, it acquires new properties, yet its chemical composition remains unchanged. It seems that the structure of water – i.e. how its molecules are organised into clusters – is key to the remarkable properties that are proposed. It's hypothesised that the clusters work as "memory cells", in which water records the history of its relationship with the world.

3. Its proposed that, while water remains water, its structure reacts to "irritation". It's noted that "modern instruments have made it possible to record that within each of water's memory cells, there are 440 000 information panels, each of which is responsible for its own type of interaction with the environment."

4. Brief mention is made of the difference between free-flowing water in nature and the water that's distributed to our homes through intricate water-supply systems – i.e. the water we most often come into contact with. It's suggested that our tap water is basically "dead" in structural terms: when crystals are formed from this water, there's no beauty or symmetry. Austrian researcher Allois Gruber suggests that this water "sucks energy out of people, plants and animals".

5. Scientists quoted in the movie claim that water responds to our thoughts. As our bodies are mostly made up of water, it's said that if the water in our cells can become peaceful, so can we.

6. Mention is made of experiments on the effect that diverse factors, such as magnetic and electrical fields, various objects and human emotions, have on samples of water. According to Prof Konstantin Korotkov, there seems to be evidence that positive and negative human emotions have the strongest influence. When study participants were asked to project emotions onto flasks with water, negative emotions (e.g. fear, aggression and hatred) reduced the energy of the sample water, whereas positive emotions (e.g. love, tenderness and concern) increased the water's energy levels.

7. This theory is expanded with reference to experiments conducted by Dr Emoto. His research seems to show that water reacts positively to words such as "love" and "gratitude" by forming beautiful crystals when frozen in a cryogenic chamber. The opposite seems to be true for a phrase such as "You disgust me". Water also seems to react to prayer and music.

The Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto

"The Hidden Messages in Water" is an eye-opening theory showing how water is deeply connected to our individual and collective consciousness. Drawing from his own research, scientific researcher, healer, and popular lecturer Dr Masaru Emoto describes the ability of water to absorb, hold and even retransmit human feelings and emotions. Using high-speed photography, he found that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward it. Music, visual images, words written on paper and photographs also have an impact on the crystal structure.

Stonehenge a "Neolithic Lourdes"

After the first major dig at Stonehenge in 44 years, British researchers think they have solved the mystery of why ancient Britons transported massive rocks 250 miles from Wales to Salisbury Plain to construct the massive but enigmatic Stonehenge monument: They believed the stones possessed healing powers.

BBC News
For centuries, archaeologists have marvelled at the construction of Stonehenge, which lies on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire.

Mineral analysis indicates that the original circle of bluestones was transported to the plain from a site 240km (150 miles) away, in the Preseli hills, South Wales.

This extraordinary feat suggests the stones were thought to harbour great powers.

Professors Darvill and Wainwright believe that Stonehenge was a centre of healing - a "Neolithic Lourdes", to which the sick and injured travelled from far and wide, to be healed by the powers of the bluestones.

Study into near-death experiences

BBC News
A large study is to examine near-death experiences in cardiac arrest patients.

Doctors at 25 UK and US hospitals will study 1,500 survivors to see if people with no heartbeat or brain activity can have "out of body" experiences.

Some people report seeing a tunnel or bright light, others recall looking down from the ceiling at medical staff.

The study, due to take three years and co-ordinated by Southampton University, will include placing on shelves images that could only be seen from above.
